Origin and background
Akshaya Tritiya is the third lunar day of the bright half of Vaishakha. The Sanskrit word akshaya is commonly understood as enduring or undiminishing, and the day has different customs across communities.
અક્ષય તૃતીયા વૈશાખ શુક્લ પક્ષની ત્રીજી તિથિ છે. “અક્ષય” શબ્દનો અર્થ અવિનાશી અથવા સતત રહેતો એવો થાય છે અને સમાજ પ્રમાણે તેની પરંપરાઓ બદલાય છે.
Description
Families may begin a new venture, perform puja, donate food or water, purchase meaningful items, or celebrate weddings where their tradition permits.
પરિવારો નવું કાર્ય શરૂ કરી શકે છે, પૂજા કરી શકે છે, અન્ન અથવા જળનું દાન કરી શકે છે, શુભ વસ્તુઓ ખરીદી શકે છે અથવા પરંપરા મુજબ લગ્ન ઉજવી શકે છે.
