Amavasya marks the transition at the end of Krishna Paksha. Families may use the day for prayer, reflection, charity, or remembrance according to their tradition.
અમાસ કૃષ્ણ પક્ષના અંતે આવતો પરિવર્તનનો સમય છે. પરંપરા પ્રમાણે પરિવારો આ દિવસે પ્રાર્થના, આત્મચિંતન, દાન અથવા સ્મરણ કરી શકે છે.
Different Amavasyas carry different regional names and customs. Not every practice applies to every household.
જુદી જુદી અમાસના પ્રાદેશિક નામો અને રીતો હોય છે. દરેક રીત દરેક પરિવારને લાગુ પડે તે જરૂરી નથી.
Date caveat
The calendar lists a primary UTC date. Local sunrise, the panchang method, and the purpose of an observance can affect the date used by a family.
