Nine nights, many traditions
Navratri means nine nights. In Gujarat, many families join prayer, garba, music, and community gatherings to honour the divine feminine. Food, clothing, songs, and the way people observe the nights vary across families and communities.
નવરાત્રીનો અર્થ નવ રાતો થાય છે. ગુજરાતમાં ઘણા પરિવારો દિવ્ય શક્તિના સન્માન માટે પ્રાર્થના, ગરબા, સંગીત અને સામૂહિક મેળાવડામાં જોડાય છે. ભોજન, વસ્ત્રો, ગીતો અને રાતો પાળવાની રીત પરિવાર અને સમાજ પ્રમાણે બદલાય છે.
