Durga Ashtami is the eighth lunar day of Navratri and is associated with devotion to Durga and the divine feminine. The details of worship differ among regions and sampradayas.

Description
Many households perform a more focused puja, offer bhog, and observe a fast or special meal on Ashtami. Some communities also hold kanya pujan or other local customs.
ઘણા ઘરોમાં અષ્ટમીના દિવસે વિશેષ પૂજા, ભોગ અને ઉપવાસ અથવા વિશેષ ભોજન થાય છે. કેટલાક સમુદાયોમાં કન્યા પૂજન અથવા અન્ય સ્થાનિક પરંપરાઓ પણ હોય છે.
