Origin and background
Raksha Bandhan is a festival of sibling affection and protection. The rakhi ritual has many regional and family interpretations rather than one single origin story.
રક્ષાબંધન ભાઈ-બહેનના સ્નેહ અને રક્ષણનું પર્વ છે. રાખડીની વિધિ સાથે જોડાયેલી પ્રાદેશિક અને કુટુંબીય પરંપરાઓ ઘણી છે; તેની એક જ મૂળકથા નથી.
Description
Siblings may tie a rakhi, exchange blessings and gifts, share a meal, and renew their promise of care. Many families include cousins and chosen family in the celebration.
ભાઈ-બહેન રાખડી બાંધે છે, આશીર્વાદ અને ભેટોની આપલે કરે છે, સાથે ભોજન કરે છે અને પરસ્પર કાળજીનું વચન નવેસરથી મજબૂત કરે છે. કેટલાક પરિવારો પિતરાઈ અને પસંદ કરેલા સંબંધોને પણ સામેલ કરે છે.
